BAIA aggregates representatives from a variety of industry sectors. Regularly scheduled events target different business topics designed to satisfy a diverse business audience. Industry sectors are led and coordinated by BAIA group co-chairs and are grouped in four clusters:

BAIA open source governance business model is designed to promote openness, stimulate networking and transparently integrate member-driven innovation. BAIA is open to all individuals, companies and other associations who have an interest in aggregating and promoting business networking and opportunities between Italy and the US. BAIA encourages members and participants to actively contribute to the development of the organization.

BAIA member community is coordinated by a governance team, whose mission is to guarantee BAIA independence and openness and to manage the day-to-day administration of the organization. Under the governance team umbrella, co-chair members coordinate the activities and facilitate the development of business opportunities within, and across, industry groups.
